For the people, by the people, to the people of India.

For the people, by the people, to the people of India.

Hey Guys! Sumera reporting on duty.

Few days back I was reading an article about the rise in demand for locally sourced consumer products in India, which made me wonder why is this the talk of the town. India has been a strong contender in producing handicrafts and locally sourced products since the very beginning.

When did we move away from it?

There might be a few reasons, that I could think of:

-The fast pace life (literal lightspeed)

-Unavoidable choice with convenience

-Quality V/S Quantity for consumer goods in the urban

-Lack of Manpower accounting for various reasons including daily wage policies

-Phone (mom pitched in)

One of the main reasons behind this trend might be the growing concern about the environmental impact of globalization and the long supply chains that are involved in bringing products from around the world to Indian consumers.

Overall, it is pretty heartening to see the growing awareness among Indian consumers about the benefits of using locally sourced products which not only supports the local economy and reduces the carbon footprint, but also promotes a sense of community and connection with the people and places where these products are made.

Our entire product is proudly made in India. Whenever you pick a can of Soly be sure to be enriched with well-heeled resources our country provided us with.
